When you’re an avid collector of something, it’s natural for that item to make its way into your VW build in some fashion. For Tom McGrane, his love of Mountain Dew spawned a complete transformation of this everyday 1974 thing to a caffeine-induced one-of-a-kind splash!
STRATO SILVER LOVE
Eleven years ago, Ivan Ferenc discovered a diamond in the rough in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada. He poured much love into it and went through everything, finally bringing this jewel to Concours condition.
HOT ROD BUGGY
You can’t deny the parallel between 1960s hot rods and dune buggies. This safari model, a true survivor with a great story, certainly proves the point. It belongs to a longtime rod and custom aficionado, Henrik Forss, a fairly newcomer to the buggy world.

Silverado is a three-day event that welcomes a wide assortment of Volkswagen campers and swappers. On Sunday, the car show featured over 100 additional VWs on a large grass area.
