Imagine driving your air-cooled VW all the way from the Washington state border with Canada, south, to the California state border with Mexico. A distance of over 1500 miles... but you're not alone. Imagine driving along with dozens of other classic VWs as you cruise along Highway 1 south, for 11 great days. And today, day #11, the final leg of this cool journey came to an end, as a group photo was taken in Chula Vista, California with Mexico just beyond the line up of old Volkswagens. Airhead Parts once again presented Treffen 15, Border-to-Border VW Cruise 2013. Look for a write up on the entire cruise in a future issue of Hot VWs magazine.
