There is little doubt that VW buses are huge in the State of Florida, and this past weekend, VW buses along with all other types of classic Volkswagens made their way to Daytona Beach, Florida. This weekend belonged to the No Dough Weekend, starting on Friday afternoon at Daytona Aircooled Parts. The following morning, the V-dubs drove over to Port Orange to the annual Bulli Brigade Spring Meet. This water-front park was a perfect place to host a VW bus event. Next on the list was the S.E. 3rd annual Bay Window Rally (SBR3), held once again at the Nova Family Camp Ground. We then drove over to Daytona Beach, where we dropped right down on the sand and drove up and down the beach. A huge turnout of VWs could be seen on Saturday afternoon. It doesn't get much better than this! That evening, we all drove over to Giuseppe's Pizza in Port Orange to have a cruise night with pizza and beer. About 8:00 that evening, the rains came and that was the end of a great day with Volkswagens. On Sunday, the annual No Dough VW show took place in Port Orange, and the turnout was super! The rain held out until after the show was over. What a great weekend!
